2025-2026 Pay Awards and Payroll Availability
2025-2026 Pay Awards –All NHS staff will receive the national pay awards in Augusts pay, back dated to 01 April 2025. Monthly paid staff will receive this on 27 August 2025; Weekly paid staff will have received this already. Both include backpay from 01 April 2025.
Back Pay As back pay is included, please remember this means there will also be additional deductions for Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions; as well as any other deductions that are percentage based for example student loans, attachment of earnings orders etc.…
Payslips – Monthly staff – Payroll hope to have your payslips ready a little earlier than usual, we guarantee they will be available by Friday 22nd August, or Thursday 21st if possible. Could we kindly ask you check this, by checking ESR/ESR app.

Uplift details – All staff
NHS PRB (AfC) Staff on Agenda for Change NHS terms and conditions will receive a 3.6% consolidated uplift with all pay uplifts backdated to 1 April 2025.

DDRB Doctors and dentists receive a 4 per cent consolidated uplift with all pay uplifts backdated to 1 April 2025. This applies to: consultants
- specialty and specialist (SAS) doctors
- doctors and dentists in training (plus £750 consolidated)
- salaried dentists (including those working in community dental services and public dental services )
- contractor general medical practitioners
- salaried general medical practitioners pay ranges
- pay element of dental contracts
There are no uplifts in local clinical excellence awards which remain frozen.
