Current processing times for NHS Pensions

NHS Pensions are currently receiving high volumes of retirement applications. This means it’s taking longer than usual to process payment of retirement benefits. While priority is given to making payments to members, it may take longer than usual to process requests for estimates and transfers. NHS Pensions sincerely apologise for the delay.

The NHS Pensions Podcast

An brand-new podcast series has been launched titled The NHS Pensions Podcast.

The podcast is designed to be another resource for members, helping to gain a better understanding of individual NHS Pensions. Each episode will take an NHS Pensions topic, break it down into bitesize chunks, and answer regularly asked questions received from pension members, and there will be pensions experts on hand to guide members through each topic.

Total Reward Statement LIVE event for members

Members affected by McCloud will see a difference in the benefits shown on their annual benefit statement (ABS). This is due to the rollback of membership from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2022 being put back into the 1995/2008 Scheme.

A LIVE event will take place on Wednesday 21 August, 2pm to 3.30pm for affected members to learn about the change in their ABS.

The live event is open to all and can be found via our Eventbrite. A recording of the event will be available on the website for those that are unable to attend.
