We appreciate that all pay related matters are important to you and will do our best to deal with your enquiries as soon as we can. There are a number of ways you can help us to do this.
We often receive duplicate enquiries, whilst we understand it can be frustrating if you don’t receive an immediate response, could we please kindly ask that enquiries are only submitted once and that if you have an open query with us that you use this to reply or ask any further questions rather than starting a new one; this will help us to focus our attention on providing answers as quickly as possible.
During Pay week which is one of our peak times, we kindly ask that you restrict your enquiries to those directly affecting current pay. For those requesting information only such as: estimates of pay, potential pay scale changes and any other non-urgent enquiries we would be grateful if these could be deferred until a later date. Any non urgent queries received during this period will be answered within 10 working days.
We thank you for your continued patience and assistance.
When you contact the service desk by telephone you will hear a short presentation message before your call is answered, please do not hang up. If you call out of hours please note we do not have a voicemail facility, you will need to either call back between the hours above or send us an email: payroll.service@bdct.nhs.uk
It is important to always have either your payroll/assignment number or national insurance number to hand when you contact us by either phone or email; this is the way we identify you and enables us to deal with your query.
